Domestic solutions and commercial lighting installations

The BrightenUp series leads the way for domestic and commercial installations with 2 size options - 250mm and 350mm diameter.  Same product; different diameter sizes, but both pipe daylight inside very effectively thanks to the developments of daylight solutions.

The SolaMaster 21 series is designed for lighting commercial and larger properties.

Solatube light pipes or sun tubes pipe daylight in to your home or workplace.

Thanks to daylight developments, the world’s brightest tubular skylight system, Solatube®, uses innovative technologies to provide up to 10 times more eco-friendly light than any other comparable system (as proved in independent tests by the BRE).

"The Solatube 290DS Daylighting System had a significantly higher transmittance than the Monodraught one." BRE Report No 248038

Pipe daylight inside - the best ideas are the simplest

A specially designed plastic dome installed on the roof of your house gathers eco-friendly daylight.

The clever bit is the way the dome is designed using a unique, patented ‘Fresnel’ lens that actually gathers and attracts more daylight than other systems. Combined with the LightTracker reflector, which re-directs even more light particularly when the sun is low, the Solatube® light pipe also delivers a more consistent level of light throughout the day.

This daylight is piped down a highly reflective light tube from the dome down to your ceiling.

Next is the quality of the highly mirrored and polished surfaces, which further help maximise the amount of light being ‘transmitted’ to the room.  The Spectralight® Infinity material, which is exclusive to Solatube® light pipes, has been proven to produce brighter results in independent tests, as less light is absorbed each time it bounces off the sides.

A double glazed diffuser ‘spreads’ the light evenly in the room where you want it.

And finally, the double-glazed condenser that sits flush on the ceiling, which cleverly spreads the light in to the room without creating a narrow, vertical shaft of light and also prevents heat loss and solar heat gain.

Simple!

The daylight developments undertaken by the company mean that Solatube® light pipes use the most advanced materials technology to ensure that the quality, efficiency and performance of this tubular daylight system is totally unrivalled.
